IOT (Internet of Things) is one of the pillars of Industry 4.0 framework, capitalizing on the internet capabilities to connect smart devices together, so can collectively execute functions at that level, reducing the role of central processing, central models and centralized functions in any system or in any automation solution. IOT is relatively new concept and trend in the IT industry. It evolved with the explosion in the internet, networking solutions, portability solutions and advancement in the electronics technology, that made connectivity and devices smarter and affordable.
